In his May 28, 2020 blog for Horse & Hound, Jason Webb shares how the pause brought by Covid-19 prompted a much-needed reassessment. He’s streamlined his horse-training workload, cutting back on daily rides to focus on his “Your Horsemanship” platform, enjoy relaxed hacks, and spend more quality time with family, plus he’s appointed Hamish Gillanders as an associate trainer. Amidst returning yard activity and the shift to livestreams, Jason also introduces us to the cheeky new arrival, Risebridge Chinook from a broodmare at Equibreed UK.
Jason Webb is an Australian-born, UK-based horse trainer renowned for his work starting young horses under saddle and re‑educating those with behavioural or ridden challenges. Operating from a busy yard in Kent, he guides around 200 horses annually through retraining and basic foundations. He’s the founder of the online training platform Your Horsemanship, through which he offers lessons, videos, webinars, and clinics. Additionally, Jason contributes regularly as a blogger and expert for Horse & Hound.
Read how these changes have reshaped his passion-driven routine.
